Smoke-resistant protection

Smoke Control Curtain D

High-temperature-resistant, smoke-tight barrier systems are made of fire-resistant materials that can withstand temperatures of 600ºC for 120 minutes.

Functions

Sectorize or compartmentalize the smoke generated in a fire, creating stable smoke deposits in high areas for subsequent extraction, preventing the smoke from cooling down and descending to the ground, invading evacuation routes.

Channel, control, and contain the spread of hot smoke and gases, thereby preventing the smoke from quickly mixing with the surrounding air, producing more smoke and causing it to descend to the ground due to rapid cooling of the smoke.

Applications

Textile curtains find applications in various types of constructions, including public spaces and various industrial environments. These solutions are suitable for installation in places such as airports, train stations, shopping malls, fairgrounds, hotels, auditoriums, museums, cinemas, factories, industrial warehouses, thermal power plants, and parking facilities.

Approvals

The system is tested according to the following standards:

  • UNE EN 12101-1-2007: Smoke and heat control systems,
  • UNE EN 13501-1-2007: Fire behavior of construction products and building elements.
